Description

Also known as Golden Panchax, Golden Wonder Killifish, Golden Wonder Panchax, Malabar Killie.

Found in loose schools at high altitude, in reservoirs, rivers and streams, also in brackish waters, over low-lying paddy fields and wells of plains and swamps.
They feed on benthic crustaceans, aquatic insects, insect larvae and river worms.
