Description

Also known as Pursemouth, Silverbelly, Silverbiddy.

Found in schools, over mud bottoms, in brackish waters, of mangrove-lined bays, creeks, and lagoons, often entering a considerable distance into freshwater.
They feed on micro-bivalves, crustaceans, detritus, and aquatic insects.
