Description

Also know as Dusky Rabbitfish, Dusky Spinefoot, Little Spinefoot, Marbled Spinefoot, Spinefoot, Squaretail Spinefoot.

Found singly or small schools, in very shallow waters close to the bottom, over coral debris, rock and sandy bottoms of reefs. Regional variation in colour.
They feed on benthic algae.
Length - 30cm
Depth - 2-40m
Widespread Western Indian Ocean, Mediterranean

Rabbitfish are usually found in algae rich reefs.
