Description

Also known as Sea Bass, Black-spotted Bass, European Sea Bass and Spotted Bass.

Found in murky waters, over mud, rock, and sandy bottoms, of shallow, coastal waters, estuaries, and rivers, in the summer, and deeper waters, in the winter.
They feed nocturnally on small fish, molluscs, and shrimps.
Length - 30cm
Depth - 1-30m
Widespread Eastern Atlantic, English Channel, Mediterranean
