Also known as Cateye, Colonial Ascidian, Compound Ascidian, Little Bottles, Robust Sea Squirt, Sea Squirt, Social Tunicate, Stalked Ascidian, Stinging Tunicate, Violet Ascidian, Tunicate, Zooid.

Found in dense clusters of cylindrical zooids, in large colonies, over hard substrates, and under overhangs, of coral and rocky reefs.
They feed on zooplankton.

Depth - 10-30m
Widespread Indo-West Pacific

Ascidian, also known as tunicates because their bodies are covered by a "tunic" a tough cellulose-like covering.
