Found singly or in pairs, over coastal reefs, rich in coral growth.
They feed on algae, sponges, and tunicates.
Juveniles found over shallow, protected reefs.
Length - 40cm
Depth - 1-40m
Widespread Indo-West Pacific

Angelfish are usually brightly coloured with highly compressed bodies.
