Found in small schools, close to branching corals, over shallow, coral reef flats, and rivers, rich in algae growth. These are the smallest members of the Rabbitfish family.
They feed during the day on algae.

Widespread Indo-West Pacific

Rabbitfish are usually found in algae rich reefs.
