Description

Also known as Guilded Pipefish, Long-snouted Pipefish.

Found in pairs or small schools amongst corals and sea fans over lagoons and seaward reefs.
They feed on tiny swimming invertebrates which they suck whole into their mouths.
Length - 16cm
Depth - 2-30m
Widespread Indo-Pacific

Pipefish are like seahorses in that the male gives birth!
