Description

Also known as Brown Pipefish.

Found singly in crevices and over rocky substrates and in tidepools of lagoons and coastal reefs.
They feed on tiny invertebrates which they suck whole into their mouths.
Length - 14cm
Depth - 0-15m
Widespread Indo-Pacific

Pipefish are like seahorses in that the male gives birth!
