Description

Also known as Cow Bream, Goldline, Salema Porgy, Seabream, Sharp-snout Sea Bream.

Found singly or in small schools, over rocks and sandy areas rich in algae growth.
They feed on crustaceans and seaweeds.
Juveniles found in seagrass beds.
Length - 50cm
Depth - 5-70m
Widespread Eastern Atlantic, Mediterranean.
