Description

Also known as Black-spotted Goby, Bullhead Fish, Caspian Round Goby, Ginger Goby.

Found in shallow, brackish, fresh and marine waters, over well vegetated, rock and sandy bottoms, of harbours, lagoons, lakes, and large rivers.
These gobies were introduced by mistake to North America, from ballast from a ship, and are extremely invasive, having found their way into many lakes and rivers!
They feed on small fish, invertebrates, and molluscs.

Widespread North America, Asia, Europe
