Also known as Murex Shell, Pink fronded Chicoreus palmarosae, Rosebranch Murex, Rosebranch Murex Shell, Rosebranch Seashell.

Found over coral and rocky areas of reefs. Beautiful shape and colour of the shell a pinky/mauve.
They feed on bivalves.

Depth - 5-30m
Widespread Indo-West Pacific

Murex shells are highly prized collectors items with their winged and pungent spines.
