Description

Also known as Corn Sugar, Rock Beauty Angel, Rock Beauty Angelfish, Yellow Nanny.

Found in pairs, around rock jetties and walls, where they can retreat into holes for shelter, over rocky reefs, rich in coral growth.
They feed on algae, corals, jellyfish, plankton, sponges, and tunicates.
Juveniles found amongst fire corals.
Length - 30cm
Depth - 3-90m
Widespread Western Atlantic, Caribbean

Angelfish are usually brightly coloured with highly compressed bodies.
