Also known as Red-lipped Morwong, Rubylip Morwong.

Found singly, pairs or in small schools over inshore coral and rocky reefs.
They feed on benthic invertebrates.
Length - 40cm
Depth - 2-30m
Eastern Indian Ocean - Western Australia

Morwongs are found in cool tropical to temperate waters.
They feed by taking mouthfuls of sand and filter benthic invertebrates through their gill raker's.
