Also known as Common Seabream, Couch's Seabream, Seabream.

Found over rock, rubble, sand, and seagrass bottoms, from shallow, too much greater depths, of the continental shelf.
They feed on crustaceans, fish, and molluscs.

Depth - 0-250m
Widespread Eastern Atlantic, Western Atlantic, Caribbean, Mediterranean
