Description

Also known as Ruby Clingfish.

Found in and around holes of ledges, rocky outcrops, attached to sea fans, sea rods, and also close or under the Echinometra Sea Urchins for protection, over clear shallow waters, of coral and rocky reefs.
They feed on benthic crustaceans.
Length - 3.5cm
Depth - 0-4m
Widespread Western Atlantic, Caribbean

Clingfish are bottom dwelling fish often associated with sea urchins. Often tiny fishes of less than 6cm.
