Found singly, pairs, or in small schools, over open bottoms rich with coral, rock, sea whips and sponges in coastal reefs.
They feed on sponges and tunicates.

Depth - 6-50m
Western Pacific - Australia

Angelfish are usually brightly coloured with highly compressed bodies.
