Also known as American Aquatic Turtle, Aquatic Turtle, Common Slider, Slider Turtle, Soft-shell Turtle, Yellow-bellied Slider, Yellow-bellied Slider Turtle, Yellowbelly Slider.

Found resting on logs and rocks, sunbathing in creeks, lakes, ponds, slow-moving rivers, streams, and swamps. Females usually larger than males.
They feed on insects and aquatic plants.

Depth - In and out the water
North America - United States and Mexico

This is a semiaquatic turtle a subspecies of the pond slider.
