Description
Also known as Coral Bream, Large-eyed Spinecheek, Monocle Bream, Pale Monocle Bream, Pale Spinecheek, Spinecheek, Whiptail, Yellowtail Spinecheek.
Found singly or in small schools, over mud and sandy bottoms, close to reef areas, of sheltered lagoons and coastal reefs.
They feed on small fish and benthic invertebrates.
Juveniles found singly, over sheltered coastal areas.

Depth - 3-60m
Widespread Eastern Indian Ocean, Western Pacific
