Description

Also known as Gudgeon, Ladder Goby, Little Glidergoby, Little Sleeper, Little Sleepergoby, Sand Goby, Sleeper Goby.

Found in pairs, or small schools, sometimes sharing their burrows with other large species, around coral heads and sandy areas, over lagoons, sand flats and slopes, of coastal reefs.
They feed on small invertebrates.

Depth - 0-20m
Widespread Indo-Pacific

These Gobies feed by taking a mouthful of sand that is filtered through the gills for tiny creatures.
