Description

Also known as Court Jester Goby, Gudgeon, Old Glory Goby, Orange-striped Goby, Rainford's Goby, Red-lined Goby, Red-striped Goby, Reef Goby.

Found singly or in small schools, over mud and sand bottoms, of murky coastal reefs rich in coral growth.
They feed on filamentous algae and small invertebrates.
Length - 8.5cm
Depth - 2-30m
Widespread Western Pacific

This goby does not seem to use a burrow maybe hiding in corals for protection.
