Description

Also known as Clown Goby, Yellow Clowngoby, Yellow Coralgoby, Yellow-speckled Cave-goby.

Found in schools, hiding, or hovering in the branches of Acropora corals, over sheltered lagoons. Their skin is covered in a slimy toxic mucus.
They feed on zooplankton.
Length - 3.5cm
Depth - 0-15m
Widespread Western Pacific

Reef Gobies have the largest and smallest species usually with very distinctive colouring.
