Description
Also known as Broken-back Shrimp, Carid Shrimp, Hump-backed Shrimp, Sawblade Shrimp, Tozeuma Shrimp.
Found singly or in small colonies, blending in with their hosts, on algae, soft corals, seagrass blades, rope sponges, and sea whips, over coral and rocky reefs.
They feed on algae and plankton.

Widespread Indo-West Pacific
