Description
Also known as American Pike, Common Pike, Great Lakes Pike, Great Northern Pike, Great Northern Pickerel, Jack, Jackfish, Pickerel, Snake, Wolf.
Found singly, usually in shallow clearwater basins, creeks, freshwater lakes, pools and rivers rich in vegetation.
They feed crayfish, fish and frogs.

Widespread Circumpolar (Although is believed to have been introduced throughout Europe)
