Found in silty water, over mud and seagrass beds, of coral and rocky reefs.
They feed on detritus and invertebrates.
Length - 11cm
Depth - 0-40m
Widespread Western Atlantic, Caribbean

Volutes are some of the most sought after shells with their giant shells, colour and patterns.
