Also known as Murrays Groppe, Scaleless Sculpin.

Found singly, over sandy bottoms, in the Barents Sea, and the White Sea, in both deep and shallow waters.
They feed on benthic crustaceans and worms.

Depth - 7-530m
Widespread North Atlantic, Atlantic Coast of Northern Europe
