Description
Also known as Dealfish, Oarfish, Peregrine Dealfish, Peregrine Ribbonfish.
Found swimming with its head pointing upwards, in very deep waters off-shore.
They feed midwater on crustaceans, fish and squid.
Juveniles swim at the surface with their fins trailing mimicking jellyfish.

Depth - 100-600m
