Also known as Cut-throat Emperor, Pigface Bream, Sky Emperor, White-spotted Pigface Bream, Yellow Emperor, Yellow-tailed Emperor.

Found singly, over sand, and seagrass areas of reefs.
They feed on crustaceans, echinoderms, fish, invertebrates and worms.
Length - 65cm
Depth - 2-100m
Widespread Indian Ocean
