Description

Also known as Australian Mado, Mado Sweep.

Found in small to large schools in large estuaries, harbours under jetties, pylons and wharfs and over coral and rocky reefs.
They feed on plankton and benthic organisms.
Length - 25cm
Depth - 0-30m
Indo-West Pacific - Southeastern Australia
