Description

Also known as Longnose Hawk, Long-nosed Hawkfish.

Found singly or in pairs, perched on black corals and large gorgonians, over steep, outer reef slopes, exposed to strong currents.
They feed on small benthic crustaceans.
Length - 13cm
Depth - 0-100m
Widespread Eastern Pacific, Indo-Pacific
