Description

Also known as Cofferfish, Cowfish, Horned Boxfish, Horned Trunkfish, Long-horned Cowfish, Trunkfish.

Found singly, over mud, sand, and weedy bottoms, of coastal bays, estuaries, and harbours.
They feed by blowing away the sand to reveal benthic invertebrates.
Juveniles found in small schools, in brackish waters close to river mouths.
Length - 46cm
Depth - 1-100m
Widespread Indo-Pacific
