Description

Found singly, or in large schools, over sandy, coastal areas, of drop-offs, lagoons, and reef slopes.
They feed on cephalopods, crustaceans, and fish.
Juveniles found over shallow sandy areas.
Length - 70cm
Depth - 1-185m
Widespread Indo-West Pacific
