Description

Also known as Cowfish, Horn-nose Boxfish, Horn-nosed Cowfish, Horn-nosed Trunkfish, Largenose Boxfish, Rhino Boxfish, Trunkfish.

Found singly or in pairs, over rubble substrates and coral patches, in channels, between sheltered inner reefs, or in deep sandy lagoons.
They feed on benthic invertebrates.

Depth - 35-50m
Widespread Indo-West Pacific
