Description

Found singly or in pairs, close to their burrows, sifting through sand with their mouths looking for food, over protected, silty estuaries and lagoons.
They feed on filamentous algae, crustaceans, and worms.

These Gobies feed by taking a mouthful of sand that is filtered through the gills for tiny creatures.
