Description

Also known as Molly Miller, Scaly Blenny.

Found singly, during the day resting on Pectoral and Dorsal Fins, blending in with the background, amongst crevices in rocks, sand and seagrass beds of shallow reefs. Seen out and about at night foraging for food. Not afraid of divers but will retreat if threatened.
They feed on small crustaceans, fish, gastropods, brittle stars, sea urchins and worms.

Widespread Eastern Atlantic, Western Atlantic, Caribbean

Scaly Blennies are found in various habitats perched on their fins and usually blending in with their surroundings.
Males and females often have different colouring and features.
