Description

Also known as Freckled Moray, Freckled Moral Eel, Freckled Reef Eel, Greyface Moray Eel, Ribbon Eel, Slender Moray, White-eye Moray, White-eye Moray Eel, White-eyed Moray, White-eyed Moray Eel.

Found singly, pairs, small schools or mixed with other morays over reef flats, in ship wrecks and tide pools of sheltered reefs.
They feed on crustaceans, small fish and octopus.

Morays open and close their mouths to move water through their gills for respiration.
