Description

Known as Pot Cover.

Found singly or in pairs, over coastal reef slopes rich in coral growth.
They feed on algae, corals, seagrass, sponges and tunicates.
Juveniles found over grassy areas and shallow patch reefs where they act as cleaner fish.
Length - 60cm
Depth - 2-30m
Widespread Western Atlantic, Caribbean

Angelfish are usually brightly coloured with highly compressed bodies.
Some live in "harems" others in pairs, they can be highly territorial and make a loud drumming sound when alarmed. Ref: https://www.fishbase.se/summary/1117
