Description

Also known as Blenny, Crested Weedfish, Golden-crested Weedfish, Temperate Blenny, Yellow-crested Weedfish, Weedfish.

Found in weed cover for camouflage, over kelp beds, rock pools, and in coastal bays, from sub-tidal areas down to 30m. Colour varies to match surroundings.
They feed on weed dwelling crustaceans and small fish.
