Found in harems, secretive and staying close to shelter, over lower surge zones, of clear lagoons and seaward reefs.
They feed on algae.

Depth - 15-60m
Widespread Pacific Ocean - tropical waters

Angelfish are usually brightly coloured with highly compressed bodies.
