Found in pairs or family groups, hovering just above the bottom, facing the current feeding, close to their holes, over upper portions of outer reef slopes.
They feed on crustaceans, crustacean larvae, and zooplankton.

Widespread Indo-Pacific

These cute little fish usually in pairs hovering directly above the ocean floor, facing the current to catch their food.
