Description
Also known as Mitra, Mitra Shell, Mitra Snail, Pope Mitre Shell.
Found during the day, burrowed in the sand or under rocks, over intertidal zones, close to reefs, in the open at night foraging for food.
They feed on bivalves, gastropods and worms.

Depth - 0-80m
Widespread Indo-Pacific
Mitres shells can be smooth or notched, the shell resembles a bishops mitre, hence the name!
