Also known as Dusky Damsel, Farmer Damsel, Orangeback Damselfish, Scarlet-backed Demoiselle.

Found in shallow surge zones, over coral and rocky reefs and in tide pools. Very aggressive and territorial.
They feed on algae and detritus.

Damselfish are egg layers.
