Description

Also know as Nurseryfish, Red Sea Cardinalfish, Two-banded Cardinalfish, Twobelt Cardinalfish.

Found sheltering during the day, over shallow silty inner reefs, dispersing at night to feed.
They feed nocturnally on small benthic invertebrates and zooplankton.
Length - 14cm
Depth - 0-15m
Widespread Indo-West Pacific
