Description
Also known as Hardhead, Highhat, Jackknife, Ribbonfish, Streaked Ribbonfish, Striped Drum.
Found drifting, in pairs or small schools, over mud and sand bottoms, entrances to small caves, of coral and rocky reefs. Front Dorsal Fin becomes smaller with age.
They feed nocturnally out in the open on benthic invertebrates.
