Found over rocky areas, of exposed coasts, rich in algae and seagrass cover. Colour varies to match surroundings.
They feed on worms.

Widespread Eastern Pacific

Clinidae are usually found in dense weed or kelp with cryptic patterns that help them blend in to their surroundings. Like bennies they have whisker like cirri on their heads. Ref:
