Description

Also known as African Mudhopper, African Mudskipper, Atlantic Mudskipper, Graceful Mudskipper, Gudgeon, Kalolo Mudskipper, Mudskipper, Sailfin Mudskipper, Silverline Mudskipper.

Found singly, or in schools, zipping about, over mud, rubble, and sandy areas, of mangroves and in rock-pools, on the intertidal shoreline.
They feed on tiny crustaceans, insects, invertebrates and worms.
These are air breathing gobies.
