Description

Also known as Bridegroom, Gemmeous Dragonet, Sculpin, Sordid Dragonet, Tailor.

Found singly or in pairs, sometimes buried during the day, but will raise fins if disturbed, over mud and sand bottoms, along shallow shorelines to very deep waters.
They feed on small invertebrates.
Length - 30cm
Depth - 5-430m
Widespread Eastern Atlantic, Mediterranean
