Found singly, pairs, or schools, darting in and out of holes in coral, rocks, and rubble, over shallow reef tops, and very deep walls of the reef. Very shy and secretive stays close to shelter.
They feed on algae.

Depth - 5-80m
Widespread Western Atlantic, Caribbean

Angelfish are usually brightly coloured with highly compressed bodies.
