Description
Also known as Crocodilefish, Manado Flathead, Quarter-spined Flathead, Sulawesi Flathead.
Found singly, sometimes buried into vegetated sandy bottoms, of shallow coral, rock and rubble areas of coastal reefs.
They feed on crustaceans and small fish.
Length - 20cm
Depth - 10-45m
Widespread Indo-West Pacific
Flatheads are closely related to Scorpionfish.
