Description

Also known as Coral Bream, Spinecheek, Threadfin Bream, Threadtail Bream, Whiptail, Whiptail Bream.

Found singly, or in small schools, over muddy, silty areas, of coastal bays to deep off-shore reefs.
They feed on small crustaceans.
Juveniles found close to reefs.
Length - 18cm
Depth - 5-50m
Widespread Western Central Pacific
